Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information OsPlay collects, how it is used, and the controls you have over your data.

1. Information We Collect

• Account & profile: When you first open OsPlay, an account is created automatically using a randomly generated device identifier, so you can play without signing up. Your profile includes a display name, an avatar, a friend code, and optionally a country you select.
• Email (optional): If you choose to link your account so you can recover it on another device, you provide an email address. We use it only to send you a verification code or link.
• Gameplay data: Game statistics, scores, ratings, achievements, match history, and your friends list.
• In-game content: Content you create while playing, such as your display name, typed guesses or words, and drawings (in Sketch Race), which are shown to the other players in your game.
• Safety & moderation: Reports and blocks you submit about other players.
• Diagnostics: If the app encounters an error, we may collect a crash/error report that includes the app version, device model, operating system version, a device identifier, the screen where the error happened, and recent in-app actions. This is used only to find and fix bugs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate the app and its features, including:

• Creating and maintaining your account and profile.
• Running multiplayer matches, matchmaking, friends, leaderboards, ratings, and achievements.
• Keeping the community safe (content filtering, reports, and blocks).
• Diagnosing and fixing bugs and improving the app.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Multiplayer & User-Generated Content

OsPlay is a social, multiplayer app. When you play online, your display name, avatar, and in-game content (such as guesses and drawings) are visible to the other players in your game. Please do not share personal information through in-game content.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. OsPlay includes an automatic profanity filter and gives you tools to report and block other players. Reports are reviewed and we may hide content or remove abusive users.

4. Third-Party Services

OsPlay uses a small number of third-party services to provide its features:

• Google Gemini API: In the STOP game, the words you submit for a round are sent to Google's Gemini service to help check whether they are valid answers. No account identifiers are sent with them.
• DiceBear: Avatar images are generated from your chosen avatar style via the DiceBear service (api.dicebear.com).
• Email delivery: If you link your account, a verification email is sent through our email delivery service.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your account and gameplay data are stored on our servers. All communication between the app and our servers is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.

6. Data Retention & Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: open Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, statistics, achievements, ratings, friends, reports, and blocks from our servers. You can also request deletion by emailing us at the support address above.

7. Children's Privacy

OsPlay includes online interaction with other players and is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. No Advertising or Cross-App Tracking

OsPlay contains no third-party advertising and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not use advertising identifiers.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
